DRAVE: A aldeia Mágica

Hi everyone!
Hoje vim falar-vos do melhor e mais inspirador acampamento de toda a minha vida escutista. Bem... Não exatamente do acampamento em si, mas do local onde acampamos: DRAVE.
Drave é uma aldeia desabitada, no concelho de Arouca, construída à base de xisto e completamente isolada, no meio de um vale, sendo o único acesso a pé e, a aldeia mais próxima Regoufe, que fica a sensivelmente 4 Km de distância.
A caminhada é difícil, não nego, aliás, eu mesma a fiz, tendo começado no passado dia 31 de agosto, durante a noite e terminado dia 1 de setembro, por volta das dez e meia da manhã. Não, a caminhada não demora assim tanto (4 Km não é assim tão longe quanto isso), no entanto, fizemos a pior parte à noite, quando estava mais fresco, para que pudéssemos chegar à maravilhosa aldeia de manhã e mais facilmente. Por isso, pernoitamos no cimo do monte logo a seguir a Regoufe.
Para quem faz aquele percurso pela primeira vez, parece que é mais longe do que o que é, mas acreditem que vale a pena!
Sei que, com este post, provavelmente vou atrair à atenção de muitos, mas é mesmo isso que vos quero alertar. Aquela aldeia é, realmente, mágica, não pela teoria das minhas colegas (que nunca chegam lá pelo mesmo caminho e, como tal, pensam que a aldeia se move de ano para ano), mas pelo simples facto que nos faz mudar a ideia do mundo, faz-nos esquecer do mal que exite em nossa volta e focarmo-nos apenas naquilo que é bom. A aldeia muda-nos! Por isso é que a IV secção ajuda a reconstruir aquilo que pode lá na aldeia e passa lá algum tempo cada ano.
Este ano, aparentemente, havia mais turistas do que o normal. Como foi o primeiro ano que fui, (porque apenas este ano passei para a IV secção), não sei dizer bem se é verdade ou não e não censuro quem queira visitar o local e se sintam atraídos pelo sítio, aliás, eu até aconselho a lá irem, vale mesmo a pena!
Porém, com a chegada das estradas alcatroadas (que, felizmente, ainda não aconteceu), com a chegada do turismo, a misticidade da aldeia e do seu trilho pode se perder e é isso que quero alertar. Não deixem que uma aldeia tão linda e misteriosa como esta perca a sua magia! Não deixem que a "nova humanidade" invada a aldeia. É bom, por vezes, desligarmo-nos do mundo, da internet, do mal à nossa volta, acreditem!
E um dia que isso tudo desaparecer, acho que, aí, a humanidade vai vencer a magia que ainda exite em pequenos pontos do planeta e dos nossos corações!
Mesmo isso já estando a acontecer (o que se pode ver pela lagoa que lá há, uma vez que, com o decorrer do tempo, tem vindo a secar - pela seca que tem havido, por razões já conhecidas por todos), nós ainda podemos parar isso! Ainda podemos deixar a misticidade da aldeia viver por longos anos. Como? Ajudando!
Não façam da Drave um lugar turístico, porque não é um! Visitem, mas nunca pensem que aquilo é apenas mais uma aldeia antiga e abandonada que só serve para divertimento pessoal, porque não é! Respeitem o trabalho que há lá em tentar manter viva a chama daquela aldeia e ajudem a mantê-la viva também! Tal como os herdeiros da última família que lá viveu e que, todos os anos, ainda lá fazem uma pequena procissão no dia 15 de agosto e tentam ainda manter essa chama mágica da aldeia viva!
Aconselho-vos vivamente a lá ir, mas não por diversão. A Drave é realmente mágica e acredito que, quando a virem com os vossos próprios olhos, irão perceber isso e, com isso, acredito que irão perceber a minha preocupação (e a de muitos outros) em tentar manter a aldeia naquilo que era há alguns anos atrás. Por favor!

Today I came to talk to you about the best and most inspiring camp of my entire scouting life. Well ... Not exactly from the camp itself, but from where we camped: DRAVE.
Drave is an uninhabited village in the county of Arouca, built on shale and completely isolated, in the middle of a valley, being the only access on foot and the nearest village Regoufe, which is approximately 4 km away.
The walk is difficult, I don't deny it, I did it myself, starting on August 31, during the night and ending on September 1, around 10:30 a.m. No, the walk doesn't take that long either (4km is not as far as that), however, we did the worst part at night when it was cooler so we could get to the wonderful village in the morning and more easily. That is why we spend the night at the top of the hill next to Regoufe.
For those who do that course for the first time, it seems that it is further than what it is, but believe me it's worth it!
I know that with this post I'll probably attract the attention of many, but that is what I want to warn you about. That village is really magic, not by the theory of my colleagues (who never get there by the same way, and as such think that the village moves from year to year), but for the simple fact that makes us change the idea of world, makes us forget the evil that surrounds us and focus only on what is good. That village change us! That's why the IV section helps rebuild what they can there in the village and spend some time there each year.
This year, there were apparently more tourists than usual. As it was the first year I went, (because just this year I went to the IV section), I can't say if it is true or not and I don't blame anyone who wants to visit the place and feel attracted to the village, in fact, I even advise you to go there, it's worth it!
However, with the arrival of tarred roads (which fortunately hasn't happened yet), with the arrival of tourism, the misticity of the village and its way can be lost and that's what I want to alert. Don't let a village as beautiful and mysterious as this lose its magic! Don't let the "new humanity" to break into the village. It's good sometimes to get disconnected from the world, from the internet, from the evil around us, believe me!
And one day that all this disappears, I think that, there, humanity will overcome the magic that still exits in small points of the planet and our hearts!
Even this is already happening (what can be seen by the lagoon that there is, since, over time, it has been drying up - due to the dry that there has been, for reasons already known by all), we can still Stop this! We can still let the village's mysticism live for many years. How? Helping!
Don't make Drave a tourist place, because it's not one! Visit, but never think that it's just another old and abandoned village that only serves for personal fun, because it's not! Respect the work that is there in trying to keep the flame of that village alive and help keep it alive too! Like the heirs of the last family who lived there and who, every year, still make a small procession on August 15 and try to keep that magic flame of the village alive!
I strongly advise you to go there, but not for fun! Drave is really magic and I believe that when you see it with your own eyes, you'll realize it, and with that, I believe you'll realize my concern (and that of many others) in trying to keep the village in what it was some years ago. Please!
